Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

It is my honour to welcome you to the Northamptonshire Council of Mosques.

Our Council exists to strengthen the bonds between our mosques, support our communities, and work together in the service of Allah (SWT). Although our backgrounds, cultures and traditions may differ, we are united by one faith, one Qur'an and one beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

The challenges facing our communities today remind us that unity is not simply an aspiration—it is a responsibility. By standing together, supporting one another and working in partnership, we can better serve our families, our young people and the wider society in which we live.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“The believers, in their mutual love, mercy and compassion, are like one body. When one part suffers, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.” (Sahih al-Bukhari & Muslim)

May Allah (SWT) continue to bless our mosques, our volunteers and every individual who serves this community with sincerity and dedication.

We ask Allah to unite our hearts, strengthen our brotherhood and sisterhood, and grant us success in serving His creation.
